The MechMaxx HRT Series rotary tiller is a heavy-duty solution designed for Category 2 tractors and demanding soil preparation applications. Built for large fields, food plots, and heavy acreage work, this tiller combines a wide working width with a fully gear-driven transmission to deliver strong, consistent tillage performance in tough soil conditions. Equipped with a slip-clutch protected PTO driveline, the HRT Series helps absorb shock loads and protect both the tractor and tiller when operating in rocky, hard-packed, or previously unworked ground. Reinforced steel construction, high-capacity gearboxes, and hardened steel tines make this tiller well suited for farmers, contractors, and large property owners who require reliable performance, durability, and high productivity over extended use.

• Wide 90" Working Width – The 90-inch tilling width allows operators to cover large areas efficiently, reducing the number of passes required when preparing fields, food plots, or large garden areas.
  
• Heavy-Duty Fully Gear-Driven Transmission – A robust cast iron central gearbox and fully gear-driven side transmission deliver consistent, high-torque power to the rotor. The sealed oil-bath gear system is designed for durability, reduced maintenance, and reliable performance under heavy load.
  
• Hardened Steel Tines & Aggressive Soil Conditioning – Replaceable heat-treated C-shaped steel tines mounted on a heavy-duty rotor break up compacted soil, pulverize clods, and mix crop residue or organic material for a uniform, plant-ready seedbed.
  
• Spring-Loaded Rear Deflector – The heavy-duty rear deflector helps retain soil inside the housing for additional pulverization, then levels the surface as material exits the tiller for a smoother, more consistent finish.
  
• Category 2 & Quick Hitch Compatible – Designed specifically for Category 2 three-point hitch tractors and compatible quick hitch systems, providing secure attachment and stable operation with larger utility and farm tractors.
  
• PTO Shaft Included with Slip Clutch Protection – Includes a matched PTO shaft with integrated slip clutch to help reduce shock loads and safeguard both the tractor and tiller during operation.
  
• Reinforced Construction for Continuous Use – Built with a reinforced steel frame, heavy side plates, and a thick steel hood to withstand demanding, continuous-duty operation. The substantial weight improves stability and digging performance in tough soil conditions.

  Before use, grease all grease fittings and fill the gearboxes with SAE 80W-90 gear oil:
  • Central gearbox: Approx. 1.5L (1.59 qt)
