MechMaxx Refund Policy
Refund Process
Please contact customer service at info@mechmaxx.com indicating the item you are returning and the reason for your refund. Upon doing so, we will reply within 24 hours. For damaged or defective products, we at MechMaxx require pictures or videos of the defective or damaged items to process the return or refund.
Once the return request is approved, we will provide you with a shipping label. Please attach the label and send the package to the designated location. Unauthorized return items will not be accepted and sent back.
The items to be returned must be packaged together with the original packaging, and all the included accessories must be placed together in the package as well.
We will process the refund to your original payment method within 5 business days after receiving the package.
Non Returnable Items
- Products damaged due to negligence.
- Products damaged due to unauthorized modification of products.
- Products damaged by natural disasters.
- Products damaged due to non-compliance with user manuals.
- Products damaged due to natural wear and tear on worn parts such as belts and blades.
- Products damaged due to use in non product design environments.
- Stolen or lost products.
- Products have been opened and are no longer wanted (non-quality related reasons)
Returnable Items
- Products that cover defects in materials used for manufacturing products.
- Products that cover process defects under normal use.
- Products that cover components that are damaged during normal use.
Fee
At MechMaxx, we take pride in providing excellent customer service, and any return fees will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
If an order is canceled due to reasons attributable to the customer, a 3% processing fee will be charged. This policy also applies to orders canceled before shipment.
If an order is canceled after shipment, the customer is responsible for any applicable round-trip transportation costs, which will be deducted from the refund.
The one-way shipping fee for products on the website ranges from $300 to $1,200, depending on the product's weight, size, delivery distance, and shipping method.

Various Return Situations

Damaged Upon Receipt
Once we confirm the damage, you have the option to repair the product or return it for replacement at no additional cost. We will have our technical support team provide repair services. If you prefer to repair the product through a third-party service provider, you must first obtain authorization from MechMaxx. -
Incorrect Quantity of Products
If you receive an incorrect quantity of the product, please contact MechMaxx and provide the order number and product picture, as well as the quantity of the product received. If we confirm that the quantity of product shipped is incorrect, we will send the missing product to you free of charge. -
Missing Parts
When you receive the product, please make sure that all parts on the packing list are included. If you find any discrepancies, contact us and provide the missing parts in the packaging. Upon doing so, we will send the missing parts to you free of charge. -
Defective Products
If any of our products do not work properly, please contact MechMaxx customer service for technical support. If we determine that the product is defective and beyond repair, you may choose to replace or return the product free of charge and receive a full refund.
MechMaxx will confirm receipt of the returned goods within 5 days and inform you whether the goods meet the return conditions. After receiving the returned product, it typically takes up to 5 business days (longer on weekends or holidays) to issue a refund. Once the refund is processed, you will receive an email with the refund amount and refund ID. In general, the refund will be paid back to your original payment method. The refund will be credited to your original payment method, and the specific timing will depend on the bank’s processing time.

Defective machines/parts/returns
Mechmaxx's return policy is subject to specific circumstances. In most cases, any problems can be resolved by calling for a diagnosis and sending replacement parts. All Mechmaxx equipment comes with a one-year warranty for the entire machine. The warranty policy of the engine is: a 3-year warranty for KOHLER or B&S VANGUARD engine and a 1-year warranty for other brand engines. Mechmaxx will ship the repair parts to the customer after confirming the cause of the malfunction of the machine purchased by the customer.
As the machine warranty does not cover labor, there is no compensation for the time spent by the customer or a third party on the complete machine repair or part replacement. Before sending any part, Mechmaxx may require photos or videos as diagnostic evidence to help determine the cause of the problem, and it is the customer's responsibility to cooperate in providing the required photos and videos.
If the after-sales problem cannot be solved by sending parts, Mechmaxx may choose to return the machine to Mechmaxx's warehouse for repair. This decision is solely at Mechmaxx's discretion. If the customer decides to return the product for repair, Mechmaxx will repair the product and then return the repaired machine to the customer.
Mechmaxx may choose to send new machines/accessories to the customer instead of conducting on-site repairs or sending them for repair, and this decision is also entirely at Mechmaxx's discretion. In most cases, Mechmaxx will pay for transportation costs, and Mechmaxx reserves the right to decide on exceptions.
Cancel order/return
At MechMaxx, we understand that plans can change. Because our products are large, heavy items shipped via freight carriers, cancellations after processing or shipment create significant non-recoverable costs.
By placing an order on the MechMaxx website, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to this Order Cancellation and Fees Policy, in addition to our Shipping Policy, Returns and Exchanges Policy, and Terms and Conditions.
1. How to Request a Cancellation
To request a cancellation, email general@mechmaxx.com as soon as possible. Include:

Reason for cancellation
A cancellation is not effective until you receive written confirmation from MechMaxx.
2. Order Status Stages
Your order will fall under one of the following stages:
Stage 1 – Order received, not yet processed
Payment is authorized but warehouse processing has not begun.
Stage 2 – Order processed, pending shipment
Order is picked/packed and may be palletized or assigned to a carrier. BOL may be in preparation.
Stage 3 – Shipment in transit (BOL issued or picked up)
A Bill of Lading has been issued and/or the carrier has picked up the freight.
Stage 4 – Delivery attempted or refused
Carrier attempted delivery, scheduled appointments, or shipment was refused or undeliverable.
Different cancellation rules apply depending on the stage.
3. Cancellations Before Shipment (Stages 1–2)
3.1 Customer-Initiated Cancellations
If you cancel due to reasons attributable to the customer (change of mind, wrong item, no longer needed, incorrect information):

Order may be cancelled

A 3% processing fee will be deducted

No freight charges deducted if shipment has not been handed to the carrier
3.2 MechMaxx-Initiated Cancellations
If MechMaxx cancels due to internal errors (inventory, fraud concerns, pricing errors):

You receive a full refund

No processing fee or freight deductions apply
4. Cancellations After Shipment / BOL Issued (Stages 3–4)
Once the freight is in transit, the order is considered “shipped” and cannot be cancelled without cost.
If you request cancellation, refuse delivery, or cannot receive the shipment:
You are responsible for:

Outbound freight cost

Return freight cost
-
Storage/holding fees
-
Redelivery fees
-
Address correction or limited access fees
-
Liftgate or special handling fees
-
Any applicable restocking fee
Deductions occur after the product is returned, inspected, and carrier invoices are received.
Typical freight cost MechMaxx pays: $300–$1,200 one-way depending on product and destination.
A 3% processing fee may also apply.
5. Missed Delivery Appointments & Undeliverable Shipments
If delivery cannot be completed due to:

Customer unavailable
-
Incorrect or incomplete address
-
Site not accessible for a 26–53 ft freight truck

Lack of unloading equipment (e.g., no forklift when required)
-
Customer refusal for non-quality reasons
Then:

Redelivery, storage, and return freight charges are the customer’s responsibility
-
These charges and restocking fees will be deducted from the refund
-
A 3% processing fee may still apply
6. Refund Timing
Once the product arrives back at the warehouse:

We inspect product and packaging

We calculate refund based on:

Original order total

Minus 3% processing fee (if applicable)

Minus outbound and return freight costs

Minus storage, redelivery, or accessorial fees

Minus damage or missing component deductions

Refunds are processed within 5 business days after inspection. Banks may take additional time to post the refund.
Fees & Refund Deductions
1. Payment Processing Fee (3%)
Applied to customer-related cancellations or refusals.
2. Outbound Freight Cost
$300–$1,200 depending on destination and item.
3. Return Freight Cost
Deducted from refund when a shipment is returned.
4. Carrier Accessorial, Storage & Redelivery Fees
Any extra carrier charges are deducted.
5. Restocking or Damage Deductions
Applied if parts are missing, product is used, or damage occurred not caused by MechMaxx or the carrier.
6. Exceptions for Defective or Damaged Products
If manufacturer or carrier damage is confirmed and reported properly, MechMaxx may:

Repair or replace the unit, or
-
Issue a refund without freight charges or processing fees
This policy does not limit any rights provided under applicable consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction.
