Electric Start

This sawmill is equipped with an electric-start Kohler engine, which has excellent performance, reliable quality, and can be used for a long time.

Adjustable Cutting Thickness

The handle rotates through 23 locking locations ensuring precise and consistent control. The cutting thickness can be adjusted by rotating the handle to choose the right board for you, and the maximum thickness of the board can be cut up to 7’’.

Maximum Log Diameter

This sawmill can cut a variety of logs, and can cut logs with a maximum log diameter of 32”.

Emergency Stop Button

There is an emergency stop button on the top of the handle, which can stop the machine at any time in an emergency.

Maximum Cutting Width

According to the diameter of the log, the cutting width of the log can be adjusted by adjusting the length of the saw blade. The maximum cutting width is 29’’.

Throttle Handle

You can control the cutting speed by pushing this handle, which reduces the number of required steps and speeds up your woodcutting process; making it more efficient.

Saw Blade

The saw blade is made out of carbonized steel, with dimensions of 158*1.3*0.04’’, and a rotational speed reaching as high as 787’’ per second. This will ensure a smooth and stable cutting process while also reducing the amount of wood ships.

Spiral Log Clamp

The track features easy-to-use spiral log clamps to hold logs securely while milling.

Cutting Length

The logs are equipped with a 201” standard log track, and you can purchase a 77” extension track at MechMaxx according to your needs.

I received my SM32 sawmill within in 10 days of ordering it. Everything was there, just had to be assembled. Manual is a little vague and could have better illustrations but YouTube videos got me through it. Plan on the better part of a day to assemble it and a few hours of setup and adjustments to get it dialed in. Kohler motor fired right up, had to adjust idle speed down a little bit(easy to do). I built a custom trailer for mine so I can move it around. Thank God for youtube because there is a lot to learn when it comes to sawing logs and making straight boards. adjustment of blade tracking on the wheels, blade tension, blade angle, blade guides and level of the tracks and log bunks are crucial. The blades that come with the sawmill cut soft wood pretty decent, but Im using other brand blades that cut better, especially for hardwood. Its been a satisfying experience.

Delivery was prompt and the driver was helpful, the create was made to withstand a hurricane and everything was packed tight. I'll update the review after setup and use.
