To be fair, all equipment needs to be adjusted from time to time. We set the wood chipper up and adjusted it out. In one day of learning how it worked, we were pushing it to the limit. We have at least 15 hours of use on it now, and I am so pleased.
It works great on my tractor. My tractor only has 25hp PTO. However, I limit scraps to 3 inches, anything larger will turn into firewood. Cutting works well while keeping the PTO shaft level.
Good choice! We process sawmill waste wood into useful wood chips. His flywheel is thicker and heavier than other wood chippers, which I think makes a big difference.
Well made, high end features, valuable, who wouldn't want to use the raw power of machinery to destroy tree branches! For irregularly shaped wood, bigger is better, there is no need to feed large wood. I am still happy with my tractor and property.
It does well on piles of leaves, which it will suck on. This did better than expected! Nice chipper. Less moving parts to maintain than my hydraulic feed chipper. That is a real plus in my book. It really does a good job of feeding itself from what we can see!
