If your chipper produces long chips, try adjusting the bedknife. Place it as close to the chipper blade as possible and remember to sharpen the blade as you work on it. Having a chipper with a hydraulic feed roller can reduce the time and effort involved in pruning unpruned branches. Ideal for those who don't mind spending more time trimming or chipping and clearing clogs.

Hydraulic feed is a must for a wood chipper, and yours does a great job and doesn't strain the tractor at all. Great machine. Very impressed.

A very well designed and manufactured product doesn't come cheap. I run it at 65 hp and even with 5 inches of material the tractor doesn't feel like anything. marvelous!

I'm really impressed with this chipper, the hydraulics is a big plus and it works better than some other chippers I've seen.

Just this week my wife and I started chipping away at a large pile of brush on our property because we wanted to provide debris for our existing trails. I'm glad we have this option because it works great to put branches and small trees in and then go get the next piece while the chipper feeds itself. Don't feel too bad about cutting your pins off.
